is this driver a good match for 6 of the above strips

Yes that driver will work. I can’t comment on the C style driver though as I’ve only used A, B, & AB style drivers. Most people use the A style drivers for DIY.

Are you planning on running heatsinks?

For the cheaper gen 2 strips I would just run 8 strips at 700ma so you don’t need heatsinks.

As per DS the C version is the same as the A version, just have some terminal blcoks for AC side.

Edit: yes, op, this is fine and has onboard dimming thru a little screwdriver in a hole. For of board dimming you need to get the B version and a 100k ohm dimmer pot.

There are terminal blocks on the AC and DC sides.

The "A" versions have an IP65 rating. The "C" versions do not have an IP rating.

Depending on what's available to the OP and where they plan on mounting the driver, they may be better off with one of the other versions.
