Drippers Wtf Im I Doin?

hey guys im finally building that dripper setup and i need to know if i need a special fitting to hook the drippers to the pump line? help me im building im right now!!!! 430pm 1/25/08

ok well this is how its goin! i got 3 chocolate chunks and 3 sage/train wreck clones rdy to go so i got a a rubbermaid tub (30gal) for my res, a 264gph pump six dripper hoses. how do i connnect the drippers to the pump line? plz plz respond!!!!!!!!

if its like my old setup you need a fitting that reduces the size of the hose from the pump line to the dripper line like a 1/2" to 1/4" fitting i got one at lowes they sell a little bit of hoses and drippers and had the correct transition i needed

how are your 6 lines connected? do you have a manifold with 6 outputs? if thats what you have, you need a barbed hose fitting. you'll need to know the diameter of the threaded end on the manifold. home depot sells them in the sink/plumbing area. match the threaded end and pick the one that has the same hose size as your pump. probably 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch. use zip ties to attach the hose to your pump and around the barbed fitting just as an added measure to keep the hose attached.
