Drip irrigation, vaporizer/fogger or both?

I have this thread over in the hydro rooom but I figured this would be the better spot after I posted it. I will be ordering my components to my DWC system tomorrow and I am trying to decide on a couple things. I can afford to get both drip irrigation and this fogger/vaporizer with float. I am wondering if I even need the drip system. From what I have seen, alot of people use it sparingly anyway, for example: 15 minutes 3 to 4 times daily at 3gph. Seems like more maintenance than dirt. My idea is that I have the bubble stones oxygenating the water and the vaporizer breaking down the water to microns for quick absorption through the roots. I dunno how long the discs last on the vaporizer though. I am on hold with the company customer service as I am typing...Ok no word on the micron level it produces. The discs can be cleaned instead of replaced. They can get clogged at higher ppm levels. Thats another plus. I just don't wanna buy all the tubing etc and configure all that and then have it owning me everyday every four hours. I am looking for a little more automation. I guess I could get a timer but still doesnt seem like I really even need it. Anyone got insight on this? Please and Thankyou!

Foggers only last a little while mine only lasted 1 month or so they crust up with salts from water and nutrients---stick to the drip.
