Dried for 8 days, just put in jars with 62% RH, but the bud is sticking

Is it ok for the bud to stick? They are all covered in crystals (some are gorilla glue strains), but I always worry it's the moisture. Should I keep the lids off? Should I break them apart?

8 days really means nothing if the drying conditions aren't right. The stems of the buds should crack when you bend em before they go in the jar and the buds should feel stiff/ borderline crunchy. Once dried properly and in jars, just give em a good tumble in the jar, then crack it open to burp every day for a few days to a week. If they dont tumble loose in the jar, they are likely still too wet for jars. I've grown some pretty sticky bud and it always tumbles loose in the jars when dry. If you try to jar up weed thats still too moist you're likely to get damp hay smells and mold.

Try putting your humidity gauge inside the jar for a while and see how it registers..

Often I'll jar after a week and then if the buds turn out to be too wet I'll lay them on a rack over night then re-jar and check humidity.

Definitely look out for mold if you live in a humid area or if the buds are really wet..

Agreed ^^^^^^^^

You can tell they are not dry enough , when they settle and make a stuck together clump at bottom of jar ..... With that you can dump them out ( on a table / towel / etc. ) let them dry out for an hour or two to bring RH down .... I stir them around in jar with a chop stick every couple days to free them up and exchange air in jar. Keep drying until they move free as stated above ( or at least ) close to it so you can dial it in.

If you are in a crunch, like you have to go out of town or can't get to your safe house for whatever reason, bovida packs work very well. They will both absorb and emit humidity to stay at a specific range.

Some people say they absorb terps, but I've never noticed any issues. I use them for long term storage, which ends up being everythingI don't give away. ;)
