i tested his the dopes, and grown a few others of his as well.. his og kush, ghost cut is easily in my top 3 smokes, hands down..
dying to get my hands on his ecsd, but it'll have to wait till i get some cash..
also, like scarhole said, he can be a bit on the grumpy side at times, but once he warms up to you, he's a very good dude and more than willing to answer any and all questions one may have about his genetics..
man also answers his own phone, gotta love that..

and hey prantus, check out a member on here named dr gruber, he's pretty much the riu resident dr greenthumbs guru as he's grown probably 80% of drgt's gear, and usually does an excellent grow journal on them as well for all to see..

i've honestly heard mixed reviews on the g13, while it yields like a mofo, the taste leaves a bit to be desired. all second hand info mind you, and i could be way off base, but from i've heard, he's got much better on offer than the g13

i want his khatsu cut of bubba so damn bad as well, or even the bubba og.. heartland hank is doing a grow of the bubba og and is killing it.. i almost shorted out my new laptop by drooling on it the other day..

the guys a rip-off and he sells fake g13 theirs better places to buy from go to mr. nice auction and get g13 crosses they actually have g13 in them and for a fraction of the price. one breeder I'd never spend a dime on is greenthumb even the shit thats not $100 per seed is still overpriced.

I'd also take dr. gruber with a grain of salt the guy works for gt he gets seed for free to run grow reports and talks to GT I half way still think he is gt but he at least works for him that I know. also Scarhole is grubers butt buddy.

him an mr Northone on @ the farm have amazing yields with DrGt seeds.
I think Ortega / DrGt g13 is Nevils 84 cutting.
nevil is using Jim's g13 hawiian, I bet he believes its legit.
Dogless / Ortega keeps old lines alive. I'd like to copy his storage methods somday.
And I know mr Ortega grows DrGt stuff....
Although I love Nevils work.
I wouldnt grow Shanti bobs Spanish Mns seed if they were free.
rather try some GHS sativas, at least they acknowledge Ingmars WW was the first.

imo, even if you got the seeds for free, would you continue to grow them if they were shit?? i know i would not.. i have had one or two bad experiences with a certain breeder, and would not even attempt to grow their gear for a second time..
and again, free seeds, if they're even free as i am not sure on that fact, his grow journals do say a lot about the genetics imo.. check out his ecsd grow, or heartland hanks bubba og gj..
i can see not liking the man because of some of his prices, ie, the g13 and khatsu cut of bubba are a bit out there, even in my eyes, but i can't knock the mans genetics, not from what i've grown, or seen grown by others..

Dr. Greenthumb is a legitimate seed provider, delivery on time and good germination rates. I've grown several of his strains and find the yeild to be very good but the potency to is average at best. Doc is also very challenging to deal with on the phone, he can be a bit abrupt. Many better options out there to find high potency varieties.

Bluntass has been baggin on the Doc for years now. Hes got an agenda, never grown any of Docs strains and really should not even give an opinion. Hes over on Mr Nice site lickin Shanti's nuts. I just finished a Shark Shock grow from auction ceeds and it was garbage. 3 phenos. Straight to the hash bin.
ive been runnin Doc Katsu cut for 4 years. I would pay $100 no prob. I have grown pounds of the tastiest smoke...for a hun. I have his Chemdawg and OG in veg. That with Bodhi's Blue Tara and this next run should be epic

Doc gives Gruber ceeds because he actually completes a journal on them. I talked to Doc on the phone and he was fine, friendly actually. I usually send cash in the mail but this last order I just called with credit card. Asked me if I had any questions about strains, we chatted a bit. He told me his go to strain is the Bubba Katsu. I had to agree and ordered chem and og.
I also had friends order from him and she fucked germing the seeds up and Doc replaced them. Ive done Iranian auto and Iranian G13 outside and both were done in Aug. and Im in Canada. I did the G13 inside and out and did not like it either. No flavour but massive yields. I dont recall a Doc ceed not germinating for me.
Please dont accuse me of being the Doc, Ive already been accused of being an Advanced Nutes rep. Cant a guy like anything around here?

really years I've only talked shit about doc once in a thread other then maybe saying his prices are retarded. But its clear as day his g13 is a load of bullshit just look at it he say's he got the cut from DD then DD say's fuck no he aint got it from me then years later when nevil decided to start his own company has jim ortega claim the cut doc has is from him nevil concurred now doc say's on his site the cut was from ortega no longer DD and wouldn't you know nevil has a pure g13 cut from ortega and he's selling seed of it the cut that's been dead and gone for years. now thats just bullshit I've been talking shit about him for years I haven't even been on here for 2 years you fucking idiot.
