Drain To Waste Top Watering by Hand Rockwool

People complain about ph fluctuations when using R.O, but my experience has been the complete opposite. I find when using my tap water the ph of my dtw resevior would rise faster than I liked. When using R.O I adjust to my desired ph and it stays pretty stable for 4-5 days(which is how long it takes for my resevior to dry up). That's been my experience anyway

If your having issues with algea on top of your rockwool just cover the top of it with something. They sell rock wool 'covers' for this purpose, but you don't need to spend that much-just get some white plastic or some other material and cover the tops so light won't be hitting it. Once the plants get bigger and the canopy shades the top of the RW it should mostly disappear. Algea isn't a big deal, but it can be if left unchecked or allowed to 'do it's thing' for too long.

Everything is looking good mate, keep it up, and sorry for the multiple posts

Use foil. Fungus Gnats hate the light that reflects off the foil.
