Unfortunately
Lps aren't willing to offer up their genetics so does this not just scream another trip back to court?
Is this reasonable access?

I'm not sure why anyone would want to grow out lp seeds anyway. If the seeds came out of mediocre bud then isn't mediocre bud the probable outcome?

I don't think anyone really wants to grow out lp strains. It's just to get the "legal" seal of approval. The lp seeds would go in the drawer and my own fire would be grown. It's all about the legality !!

I just spent some time searching through the regs posted on the gazette and justice websites. There appears to be no requirement to obtain via LPs. Please read it for yourself and directly quote anything I missed.

Assuming I'm correct that would leave the LPs as the only legal source however there's plenty of seedsbanks operating for years illegally. Plus who's to say you don't already have a stash of seeds you've collected over the years. Heck I've got some seeds from tweeds first couple of shitty shipments.

The nice robotic like HC lady seemed kinda smitten when I spoke to her. The no reason but here is the answer type.
If they are the only legal source, where the f did they get the seeds they have from ??? don't answer that ,I already know....God all mighty brought them right ????
I will order some snoop dog droppings and just say they were all males bongsmilie
I will check their dumb box and play stupid but grow their shit. Make me laugh........

HC says you are correct....

illegal....... legal in their eyes or the courts may be the real question, I do not know......
So if you use your own seeds or strains, do the good people at HC now have the power to not renew your licence in a year from now ??

Has anyone that checked NO gotten their licence back

Sneaky fuckers will probably only sell non viable seeds then send a cop/inspector out and dismantle your garden cus there's plants in it.

Anybody who is interested I've heard Sunrise Medicinal in Barrie will have doctors available for Skype apointments to grow, starting next week. Was just passing by and noticed they where open. Went in an spoke with Casey. She didn't give much detail about the cost but they can do scripts over 10gpd.

She said call if interested

Do they charge for their service or they just bill ohip ?
Might be an option a little down the road as canadian cannabis clinics apparently max daily dose of 5 grams per day. with the wife and I using juicing , extracts and edibles . the 5 gram cap is a problem ! !

it's more of the clueless in charge.
these people have no actual experience yet they're in charge.
if they tried to use 5 g a day for chronic pain-they'd realize that much might be good for a couple hours with a good edible but there's no way 5 g a day will touch a neuropathic pain.
the Dr i went to quoted the 1-3 g a day average. it's been that same average since the dawn of the program yet the daily amounts have changed drastically.
i wish someone who had first hand knowledge would be on one of these decision boards

I found it very frustrating dealing with these so-called cannabis doctors that know very little about cannabis. I have 2 very badly herniated discs that are pushing on my sciatic nerve it makes it almost unbearable to walk at times. When my sciatica first started I was growing/medicating a CBD strain by TGA genetics named Pennywise, it is a 1:1 thc/cbd ratio. Well to my surprise my sciatic nerve pain didn't get better but got way worse !!!
I did a bunch of research and came to find out that CBD stimulates nerves , which can be good if you suffer from seizures or other neurological disorders but not a pinched nerve !! Well I proceeded to tell this story to my cannabis Doctor Who still after all of that recommended that I use a very high-cbd cannabis strain !! I said "I don't think you're hearing me I told you that CBD makes my pain way worse"
She told me that her research said CBD was good for all types of pain and that she was the doctor . ....wtf people !!!

I just kept switching and trying new strains....some worked better than others...and they are all thc strains...
some of them quite potent...I too suffer from back/neck and lower back pain...and frankly mmj is not strong enough to do it on its own...even eaten....or juiced
I have also tried some lp cannabis compliments of my neighbour(who is also legal) which was a high cbd strain and zero relief...
but doctor knows best....right?

There is a fee. Not sure how much. I think anything over 10gpd won't be cheep.

i hear ya.
the Dr who gave my wife her current script wants to cut in half for now and see how she does....he's told me that he doesn't think making oil is the best way to go so i should use olive oil. that means at least taking 2 1/4 cup doeages per day. that's not omnly gross but I'm sure it will cause her to gain weight and since her pain is in her feet, that will not be good.
i am blown away constantly about where they get their research from when the Government has stated there's no studies. how did they all of a sudden get this information??
i realise they are a bunch of studies but first they deny and then they quote but it seems they are looking at the wrong ones and opinions by people who have no experience. only book knowledge which doesn't mean anything.
if you look at the schematics of a bumble bee, it can not fly. wings too short, body too big etc but i have seen many of those critters flying around so it doesn't always go the way a book says

I just looked at the medical document for the ACMPR....well it's better than the the mess that had to be submitted for the MMAR. I wonder why a plain ole prescription doesn't suffice? It has all the required information on it and it's spit out at the docs office. They send it to the pharmacy and boom, script done. All they would need to do is define the time...so 10/d x365.

Docs should just start cutting all scripts in half to see how patients do....maybe diabetics could use a little less insulin and you damn epileptics...really? Let's just see how many more seizures you have...and why not fuck with all the medications? It's laziness on the part of doctors. They don't want to know. They have convenience in their script pad and the big blue book of drugs. How dare a patient know more about how to treat themselves than their doctor. Cannabis seems to be the only "drug" that goes backwards in dosage with continuous use.
