Dr. Greenthumb?

Anybody here tried Dr. Greenthumb seeds? He sure is expensive, but I've heard good things about some of his strains.

You grow straight fire... You get what you pay for.... Of course there are his hiccups in his gear. I had a prob with his c99... he straighten it out... Everything else has been consistent and straight fire... usually the people bashing him are the people who can no afford him...

been using the doc for over a decade. never had a problem. in the beginning, the doc didn't have or like femmed beans. now, almost all his gear is femmed. i like regular beans, not manipulated. i wish he'd bring back his grenadine. the best strain i've ever grown.

i've grown his ghost og, straight fire..
ecsd, wasn't as killer as i was hoping, but good none the less.. i just think it was one of those strains where nothing was going to live up to what i had built it up to be in my head..

No never tried him because of the prices. I did try Breeders Boutique out and have been smoking the best bud I've ever smoked since then. And they have a 50% off sale right now.

That's just not true when it comes to marijuana seeds. Some of the best strains I've ever grown have been a fraction of the price of Dr Greenthumbs gear.

You know this how? Have you taken a survey? I can't speak for others, but for me it's a principle thing. Why would I spend $150+ on a pack of seeds when there are dozens of breeders, with every bit the genetic stable, that are half the price or less?

i have ran the dr and liked his gear its solid and has minimal problems. pricey? yeah it is higher priced but it is good. just all depends on what we want to spend. hey sone gage green is pricey and holy crap some archive is and wow many others just look. spend what your comfortable with to match your skills. does paying more get you better resylts hell no what you do from the koment you drop the beans gets you the results the price we pay is just what we decide is acceptable to us for what we are buyin. you can find great beans at all prices but some things you pay more for. we can do 140mph in a vw jetta but hell if ya have the cash your most likely to do 140mph in a vette. what im sayin is price for beans doesnt assure you to have better results. the dr does have good stuff and he doea deliver but with all places no matter if its the zon ot the tude or stax ir wgere ever peopke will always tell you good points and bad points just depends on their individual experiences. we all order seeds and we all gamble on the quality and service and delivery we get. not all experiences are going to be good but not all bad either. i personally have had good times with the dr and several others both high and low priced its a roll of the dice goood luck my friend. do some research and you will make an informed decision on what you learn. youll do ok im sure

ya know i have heard a few people say his escd was the best representation of the real deal that they know of and 2 of them were main breeders we all have heard of i myself also found it to just be good. not great or a standout by any means but not bad or a keeper. was just good. mabey the hype does make us build things up. damn mabey i did that very thing with my wife.............she isnt so great right now lol but i am stupid bombed also....

Please explain what you were saying there if I misinterpreted that.

You pay for his expensive gear.... You get good gear. You pay for cheap gear... you usually get more variation... still good gear... Thats all...

For me its about reliability. Over the years I have grown just about everything Greenthumb has on offer and the plants I grow are the envy of everyone. No one wants to spend 4 months growing something that's not up to scratch. Not long ago I grew HSO OG and it was a waste of time and money. Now thats expensive! With greenthumb I KNOW it's going to be good as long as I take good care of my plants
