Dr. Greenthumb Bubba OG

I've run Dr. Greenthumb's Bubba OG twice now from seed, with so-so results.

The seeds germinated and grew with no problems. They were very aggressive, had no problems, finished fast, and produced good yields.

But the high has no staying power. It's good at first, but has no staying power. This is the opinion of 3 long-time smokers, two of which are dealers and have sampled every strain known to man.

Definitely NOT worth the $200 price for only 5 fem seeds.

IMHO.

Ive been interested in this strain. Maybe they were Bubba dom? Bubba will never go down in history as a strong strain. I think @Dr Gruber said this was his fav? Could be wrong
How was the uniformity between the 5 phenos?

I've had bubba and bubba crosses that were pretty potent. Relaxed body buzz, not really an in your head high like og.

I think if I were to ever get something else from doc, it would be his s1's, not the crosses. I'd have stuck with the og or the bubba. Although sour x og crosses aka headband would seem more of two I would think clicked.

That's too bad OP was dissapointed.

Doesnt the Bubba OG have a different Bubba than the s1 Bubba? I agree with kgp I would just stick with the s1 and not crosses as those seem to do better

Really sad that you had so/so results. It's one of my favorite plants of his. Although you might be right on the staying power of this one. As much as I love this plant I do see myself reaching to smoke it more often then his headband, or chemdawdg or even trainwreck. It yielded well so the jar is full..... Plant looks beautiful and the smoke is clean and smooth, but not the heaviest hitter in his lineup imo.

Ps I can't stop reaching for the jar of headband... That and the mediplant are my two fav of his! ..... Running the bubba blue now and it's growing like a monster have high hopes for that one!
