Double scrog method?

I'm going to be running a scrog in my tent, but i seen people that do double scrog? what is the additional net for? i have seen it and i think it defeats the purpose and i googled, but i don't understand why people do this? can someone shed some light on this you get more yield is it for support?

I don't know, I've seen it and it looks as fucking practical as it does stupid. Like giant rims on a crown Victoria.

Id say its for support my last scrod the buds stsrted to fall over near the end

It's because they stretch way more than they train = having to add second net to supplement the first being to low

Once u bud they will stretch yes its def to support the buds
