Chances are, if u fiddled with hydroponics in the mid to late 90's, u have seen one of these!??!
Original "design", had a 3 gallon bucket, placed n a 5 gallon bucket. Mini pump, 1/2" tube, grommet and a 90° fitting .

Simply, fill 3 gallon with hydroton, bottom bucket with 2.5 gallons of water/feed.
Plug in pump and walla!.

Kept some amazing mom's in this set up.
96' serious bg, ak47 from 94', trinity, chemo, Mike Tyson, bc mango, grapefruit etc etc. I sure do miss those days,a fuck load! But I don't miss checking my rear view every time I had a bag, or left a hydroshop.
KC, MO, had only 1, til early 2000.
Shout out to green circle hydroponics!!.. Tom, old deadhead/motorcycle enthusiast, all together great man (RIP)
Kelly his daughter took over for years.
Such a Betty! .Man I miss that old shop:hug:

Now that I'm deep in thought over this hood rat hydro bucket, it dawned on me that the gh waterfarm was it's evolved design.
Gh bumped the pump and created the drip ring Halo, using a 5watt air pump to syphon water to the base of the plant. From there gh linked the buckets and added a controller and res bucket .
They adapted a smaller rectangular bucket with more space to hold more air/water. Complete with a tube on the side to read water depth.

Retrofitted to rdwc, these waterfarm buckets do work!!. Will b setting it back up asap!!.
Lb plants from these liddle itty bitty buckets..not easy but possibly.
