Some sites like overgrow not only allow seed swapping but that's their reason for being for the main part.

Same here. I've sent out many seeds over the years but there's always a real but not my return address on the package and I politely decline any reimbursement whether seeds, cash or what have you. There are maybe 4 or 5 people I've met in pot forums in 11 years that I know and trust to swap back and forth.
I've been pollen chucking for 20 years so have lots of beans. Should be popping out fem seeds of many decent strains before too long and looking forward to sharing some of those.
All I've ever asked in return, is that when they can, they pay it forward.

Yea I bought some beans from somebody recently not from here or anything but popped them and they never got out of the germination stage so I was kind of pissed I paid for them

I can not figure out how to write a direct message.. maybe it just doesn't show up for me for some reason.
I very recently had to shut down my grow, and lost my clone, and now im trying to start from scratch from about 10 mixed seeds. I'm so low on money I cant afford new beans, but I still have my setup that has capacity for about 300 plants in NFT with LED mixed with HPS. Probably no breeder here needs me to test their gear more than I need some a donation right now. I would most certainly pay it forward, the biggest issue is that I can not right now. I wonder if anybody knows of ANY breeder or pollen chucker that would be willing to donate to somebody in need of serious help.

Man that sucks smh, if I had it I would myself brother. Hate to hear that, I would love to test someone’s gear out just for the helluva it though as well..but I think from my understanding you have to reach a certain level before you can pm..don’t quote me though

I'd do it in a minute, friend, but covid-19 is real, and a post office is one of the most confined and trafficked places you'll find. As mentioned before, DCSE has seeds set aside for the needy. They have extra packs of most all BBB listings to help out.
It may be due to you not having the experience on the site yet. I know that the "Like" button and other features don't show up until you've got enough reputation, messaging may be the same.

Dang man that’s not bad, looking out for people..I just saw an auction online for original Mac seeds starting at 700 crazy that he gave those out to ppl for free at one point
