HEY! You just finished saying that anyone who doesn't like dogs suck!!!

Now I know size matters:roll: but come on..........
small can be cute too:mrgreen:

Hey ... don't tread on me girl... I happen to Love dogs!!!! I admit... I'm not fond of the little ones... they tend to be yappers (at least all the ones I've seen). Sorry if I offended you and your little dog.... it wasn't intended :D

BTW... if you make clothes for dogs... tell me this.... how come I can NEVER EVER find clothes for my dog? I'm not a big fan of "Dressing up the dog" but on Halloween every year I take my 110 pound dog to the pet stores trying to find something for him and there is NEVER EVER anything big enough! WHAT'S THAT ABOUT???? Big dogs like to dress up on Halloween too  .... You could CORNER THE MARKET and make a fortune on big dog clothes :D

P.S. My pooch says "HIGH" :peace:

LMAO!!!! Too funny.
Well gurl.
110 pound dog???? You have problems finding halloween costumes??? Well yeahhhhhh. Unfortunately the business does cater mainly to small dog owners. You won't find anything in the stores for that size BUT if you go online prior about one month before halloween you will find all kinds of deals. Even ebay has all kinds of stuff. I know hubby once got ticked at me for putting one of his t-shirts on our shepherd:roll:
I didn't see the problem.

Thats a really cute picture and no I wasn't the least bit offended and hope you weren't either. I was just joking around and it was actually meant for someone else here. ;)

And I agree with Florida Girl, why aren't there clothes for bigger dogs? Probably because bigger dogs would look silly, while little dogs can pull it off.

YES! Big dogs look ridiculous in clothes BUT that is why halloween customs are hilarious. I get send the funniest pics ever via email of cats and dogs dressed up for halloween and even the pets look embarrassed.:clap::oops:

Small dogs do pull it off better.:blsmoke:

Gotta get back to work on this newsletter.
Later Witchie chick.:)

I have to kind of go against you here. In Spain there is a big trend to keep small dogs and most people live in flats. They just yap, machinas de ruido, noise machines. My mother in law has a german shepherd and I swear it gets annoyed too. Your walking down the street and some poxy little dog starts yapping the hell out of itself at the GS and mostly the GS walks proudly on. Sometimes though the GS Gulfa gets really peeeved off and flies for the said "rat" did I perceive we call them and the owners get all upset.

Gulfa is a very bad dog though bloody thing flies at people that limp or look a little strange- highly embarrassing :)

Love you Lacy :)

PS. In all seriousness I work at home now and I need a companion. I am in Spain so need a dog that can handle the heat I want a black labrador (bad black + heat = bad) or golden (long hair ugh) NWS had a lovely dog but any advice on breeds welcome.

I love you all.

Yeah. I know what you are saying. They are yapping, spoiled and annoying. Kinda like me.:roll:

My german shepherd got very annoyed with the little dogs and would just walk away also. The bigger dogs aren't as high strung as the little ones and it is the people that make the little ones extra annoying by treating them like stuff animals instead of pets.

I hear where you are all coming from but I honestly do LOVE all dogs.

Hey have you ever heard of the spanish water spaniel? They are gorgeous looking dogs. They're a bit the same in size to a golden retriever but have curly hair like the standard poodle. They have webbed feet and make excellent swimmers. Nice dispostion and temperment.

Golden retrievers or labs are great people dogs.

Luv ya too

Your right FDD, this is one trend that I cannot stand.

Girls are carrying around their little dog as if it were an accessory. It is put in the purse right along with that pink razor and make-up kit. As if that little dog's whole purpose in life is to be a spoiled chick's keychain. Its a damn animal.

Awesome advice thanks Lucy :)

damn.... hating on dogs what the hell is wrong with u people....that is man's best friend...fdd dont judge all dogs by some hillbilly at walmart parking lot with blue heeler in bed of truck....most dogs serve a purpose all of my dogs do...i dont like ankle biters they are pretty much useless... i dont mind cats but i couldnt own one my dogs kill alot of cats....if your dog is "out of control" well then 99% of time it is owner's fault for not doing any obedience with dog and dog knows no better ....... and if a dog is chewing up house...then he is either too young to be left alone inside a home(crate him) or he isn't getting enough excersize and has bound up energy....he is saying get off your lazy ass and take me for a walk.
