Does this sound reasonable??

Right folks, im going to start off my 3rd, and hopefully better, grow in about 4 weeks and this is the plan.
Seeds will be G13 Skunk#1, Female seeds white widow and Nortern Light, and last but not least Nirvanas Super Skunk.

Im using BnQ MP this time. Soooo im planning on filling 3 inch pots, a watering with 2ml root juice per litre, then leave them in the tent under lights for a week or so before planting any seeds - this is to make sure i dont get a load of gnats etc, better to throw empty pots than battle pests i think. The root juice is to hopefully get the soil nice and active for root growth.

Assuming all is well ( temps etc and no bugs) ill get them planted in the 3" pots. I think 2 weeks and then pot up to 5" pots. Another 2 weeks and into 6litre pots, veg for 4 weeks and move into 15L pots , veg another week and then go into 12/12 under a 400w dual spec sunmaster. Vegging will be under a 250W envirolight to keep them short and bushy ( hopefully).
I think my biggest mistake so far has been with pots that were too big, and never dried out between waterings, and feeding when they didnt need it.
The plan is not to feed them at all until well into flowering, if they show deficiencies then i will pot up earlier if need be.

So does this sound about right??? The strains i picked are hopefully easy growing, and if i get 2oz dry I'll be a happy bunny.

I will need to upgrade my extraction for flowering, i'll ask about that one nearer the time, just getting healthy vegging will be a bonus!!

Cheers all

Sounds good to me :) Although I found that with my 400w HPS, my plants were wider than they were tall for most of their life until the stretch of flowering. They were about 4 inches tall but 8 inches in diameter at week 2 veg.

???????
I would suggest just using less water during each feeding. Plants like a routine schedule. When my plants are veggin i feed about 2-3 oz of water everyday when they are young, then work up to about 4-6 oz of water, then when i switch to flowering i start with 6-8 oz of water every day and work up to maybe 10-12 ounces per day. ( all this is in fluid oz and are rough measurements)

Ideally, you want to feed your plant before they tell you they are unhappy. That's why we introduce ferts at a very light dose and keep working our way up to the recommended doses.

Thanks for that lads. I'll post again when they are above ground. Only thing im not sure of is the watering now. I see what you mean about weak ferts and a measured amount of water rather than what i have done before, which was a wet dry cycle - and was probably my downfall on the last grow. Lot to learn yet me thinks.
