So grow was going good but lately having issues thinking nitrogen. Done a flush and continue feeds and is good for a few days then starts loseing green colour again.

Grown in soil/coco mix and feed these nutrients , just wondering is that enough nitrogen in the nutrients and how much and how often would you feed these plants .

Here’s a couple pics of them (bit wet since I just sprayed them with some phyrethum/water solution.

Says the PH of the solution is 5.2 - low for soil (too acidic) Doesn't matter how much nitrogen you put in it cannabis has a prob absorbing at that PH level in soil medium...

have a ph meter?

Soil does buffer a bit and you have a lot of it - that might be why you say your plant has trouble absorbing nitrogen....

Edit: that plant looks good though - so that nute mix you are using ain't too shabby....

Yeh I’m not sure how to read those nutrient levels, in only feeding at half strength once a week, do you think I’m underfeeding then? I don’t have a ph meter I just use that test kit with the drops and there’s no way it’s in the 5s it tests in the green so from 6-7 , my tap water here comes out at 8 and when you mix the nutes in it looks like it tests 6.5.

I used this Aussie product from our Bunnings called (thrive) last grow and that was really good, I’m thinking of getting it again if I can’t get some answers on this issue.

Ps plants arnt looking too bad atm in the pics as just fed the other day but they do start to yellow pretty fast on all the lower growth on braches more than normally from my other grows

The nute bottle says 2.5 MS/cm2. That's the EC reading at full strength, it is the best way to tell the ppms of a solution. From what I read on a PDF the manufacturer provides on their site, they use the TDS500 scale. If you don't understand what I'm talking about - it should become clear soon......

This solution at full strength- is 1250 ppm. This comes from a conversion table, these are available online.

The nutes you have on hand mention half strength for soil b/c 1250ppm is too high for soil... a lot of plants in hydro use higher ppms but soil already has some nutes in it hence the lower ppm requirement....

If you are feeding at half strength, that means you are giving them ~600 ppms of nutes, and you are checking the PH, then you are right on the money. ..... plants look good......As you progress you want to up the dose. 700-800ppms as you get into flower, 900-1100 when in full bloom.

THEN YOU CAN REDUCE THE FEEDINGS SO YOU FLUSH THE PLANTS BEFORE HARVEST !!! FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH!!! (wait for it).....

the plant will tell you what it wants though.. whatever feeding schedule you are using currently is working so don't modify it too much....

Here's a guide to the whole EC/PPM thing. I'm using super low PPM

Sativa's take forever so you'll have to be patient with this one.....

Thanks so much for your help bro before I couldn’t understand that shit for the life of me. It’s a relief to know it’s looking better than I thought , I might put the yellowing down to her being a hungry bitch and maybe feed a day earlier from now on. They are going into flower in a weeks time I just wanted to make sure they were healthy first

Start being methodical about it. Don't use the cap to measure out the nutes - get a syringe and measure out the dilution.

If you see that at 5ml/LT you get some yellowing, go up to 6.

I would not go above 8ml/LT....

happy growing
