Does lowering watts for a week make a diff???

i'm now using 4 units with 2 (4 foot) fluorescents/unit... my babies are around a week old. In 2 weeks I will only be able to use 1 unit for a period of a week due to family visiting. I am a MMAR License holder but my family would not approve of any of this... will running 1/4 of the lighting affect my grow in any way??

why can you only run one whenyour family is over? isn't it concealed with the 4 ballast already?

Yes, it will affect it. Will it be detrimental? Not Likely.

A week of reduced light is only going to hurt growth and maybe cause a little stretching. Keep the lights close and you should be OK.

I have the lights hanging vertical in a closet and the box I have prepped for their arrival only fits one ballast..

I have them on 24 hour lighting now... but cutting down to 18 hours tomorrow! what if I raise the hours to 24 again when the arrive, will that help at all?

Not necessarily. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
