Does guano really "mango", or sweeten buds?

Had “ cheeses “ , and there is no fucking strain on earth that smells like a grilled cheese. They smell like you rolled a cone in Skunk Ass.
Pungent , sweaty foot , underarm , skunk spray but not “ cheese “ ....

Far from being a favorite for me .... some people tho will smoke anything. I give zero shits on “ terp profile “ , hate it.
Kush to me , has the “ weed “ smell one would immediately recognize , not fruit or candy , just strong pungent plant smell ( musk ? ) .
Of course , others have their own descriptions.

To each their own ... If plant is throwing her taste and perfume on blast , then as a grower you did something right.

Higher Brix levels are supposed to help terpene production also. I did add Hi-Brix molasses in each tea the first round, so that might've helped. But it kinda goes back to the happy soil thing again then. I've also heard adding sulfur like epsom salt will increase terpenes too. It could all be bro-science, but it sounds plausible to me.

Maybe hit a pipe and come back to subject, maybe then it will be clear .... or say fuck it and go eat a pizza.

Sometimes runs can get stellar or go south. Planets aligned and your grow hit all the right buttons. Be happy you got some dank and not a mess. Had plenty start strong and go sideways , but by keeping things simple , it’s just me , plant and medium. No bottle of B 52000 cartoon nute is gonna replace good gardening practices. It’s like trying to live on real food vs. vitamins only ( synth bottles ) .

Best to let Mother Nature do her thing regardless No questions asked.

Are you talking to me or ShapeShifter?

Questionable sensory perception + questionable terpene knowledge + expectation bias + confirmation bias + spurious correlations + weed = Bro Science

Too much myrcene would be required to produce obvious fruity notes. At that dose, the herbaceous component becomes too strong for pleasurable consumption. More like turpentine.

You probably tasted bat shit. The bat shit flavor faded due to biotransformation. Bat shit. Yum?

It could also be something else entirely. Neither bat shit nor myrcene. No one can say for sure. So we will have to agree to disagree.

I have never copy and pasted anything from grow weed easy here. bk78 has a really cute hard on for me. Hopefully someday he will get a life.

Whats the distinction between the two? I thought they were the same
ROLS usually gets re amended and re mixed after each run, so the hyphae network gets broken everytime you mix it. With no-till it's exactly what it sounds like. You don't till or mix up the soil. I want to keep my hyphae network whole. It makes the mycorrhizae happy who feed my plants.

Thanks. I had thought ROLS was by definition no-till. I appreciate the info!

Wouldn’t Myrcene when combined with limonene produce what you’re talking about? To add to that doesn’t valencene contribute to that? I’m pretty sure when together it should
That makes sense too. I'm pretty sure the flavor was just caused by really high terpenes now, and that different terpenes have different tastes and smells. Probably just the EWC teas everytime, and happy soil microbes.

I agree with you. I would bet the teas give that extra jolt and when done more frequently, might just push the microherd's that much more for the plant.

Maybe the specific inputs and their nutrient profiles just causes the plant to be able to express a little bit more from its genetic profile too? For example, maybe something in the guano just causes a reaction to make the plant produce more/less of some sugars or something along those lines?

Sorry I dont offer anything beyond some "stoner bro science", but just my thoughts from reading through this.

Exactly. That's what I was saying about the guano. It has awesome nutrients and microbes in it too. So the combination of teas and guano would be even better than just one or the other. I'm pretty sure it's just "Terpenes Gone Wild". I need to try it again, but take a video next time.
