if ethylene is being produced theres some thing wrong with the burner, that comes from incomplete burn, life long gas man here. if ethylene levels get high enough u can smell it kind of sweet smell,i deal with it all the time folks putting in there own propane apliances,an not setting the burner correct
Bingo!
Another good posting!

I eliminated my Co2 in my garden several years ago. Not saying it didn't improve yields, but it's a lot easier using 1 minute air exchanges than setting up and monitoring Co2 levels. And I still pull almost 2 units from a 600 watt hps lighting.

the only reason I use it is heat if I didn't need the heat I wouldn't use it

Been there, when i use to grow in an old pole barn. Most of my strains grow best if I keep my ambient under 70 degrees. I've actually grown plants that never saw over 60 degrees through the winter months. Do they grow as good as my 70 degrees plants? Absolutely not, but you can grow in those conditions.

CO2 acts like a "gas fertilizer". Everything in your grow needs to be excellent before moving to CO2. Otherwise you will be wasting money. Adding CO2 to the atmosphere and not to your plants is just "wrong". Can you answer "yes" to all these questions?
Can you maintain proper environment from seed to jars?
VPD correct and consistent?
Lighting 75-100W per/sq/ft?
Is the space really sealed to light & air?
Are pH, nutes, a non-issue in your grows?
Have the $$$$ for more amps, mini-split and commercial dehumidifier?

If you answer "no" to a question. Work on that first. You got to fix your limiting factors before pushin the envelope.

The real question. Are your flowers already excellent? If you are not already growing excellent flowers adding CO2 wont be a game changer.

Some interesting comments from you guys.

So after reading this, I'm thinking of changing my setup slightly, i.e. venting the room during dark hours each day when the C02 is off and then for the last 3 weeks just running a vented room - does that sound right?
