Does being transgender mean that you are truly a member of your chosen gender?

I wouldn't support it.

The shemales would have an unfair advantage. Dudes have larger bone structures, bigger hands, more muscle, and better cardio than chicks do. The normal chicks would get slaughtered.

I went to the university of Tennessee. Our women basketball team is one of the best in the country, and at that time they were winning national championships.

So it was a team of some of the best female basketball players that age.

They regularly practiced against a volunteer team of males who were not good enough to get a scholarship at any level to play ball, but we're fellow students at UT.

The men's team regularly beat the shit out of them in practice.

Some of the girls were better at shooting.

Anyway, a person who was born a man but thinks they are a female is still physically a man.

They should not be allowed to compete against women.

You can pretend to be whatever you want!
But in the end genetics show that you are indeed a man or woman.
You can glue a hose on a pig's face but that does not make the pig a elephant.

I honestly don't see a place for transgendered men or women in Gender specific sports.

Make it a co ed sport and they are welcome.

Fighting just seems like it should be divided clearly.

I think some are born the wrong sex, and frankly I could care less what people want to do with there bodies. I go by what they look and act like, as to how i treat people.

Men are mentally, emotionally, and physically stronger than women.
Just because you have a goofy operation on your genitalia, does not change the way the rest of your body is built, or how your mind thinks. OP.. that is a man with his dick cut off beating up on women.

This thread is sort of offensive. It's an obvious jab. It's a stupid question.

Deprogram yourself. It's about self love, and confidence.
you're a towel.

not a jab, but actual curiosity. sure, males can be feminine and females masculine, and it can go to both sides of the extreme. but, with xy chromes, can you TRULY be a woman, or are you still physically male with female mentality? with xx chromes, does an artificial penis, testosterone, and cosmetic surgery truly make you a man?

sports is a good example. i don't think that a transgender/transsexual falls into black and white male/female category. your vid kinda backs that view...

also, i wish there were a standard for addressing tanspeople. i interact with a few on a weekly basis. one, in particular, has gone from male to female, but still wants to be called 'him, he'. i know one other, who is offended if you say he bc he was 'never a male', ditto on the reverse gender...

(that last statement starts to get confusing to type...)

You treat people different based on their looks?
Everyone does, weather they know it or not. It's SCIENCE. http://www.newsweek.com/even-babies-discriminate-nurtureshock-excerpt-79233

Weather you like to admit it or not, you are prone to act/speak in different ways is response to visual/smell/ and body language of other animals. It's a survival characteristic. When someone who fits a profile, treats you badly, injures, offends, attacks, etc, etc, you automatically pick things about the other animals characteristic to either avoid, or treat worse than the one before. Don't believe me? EX: I bet its easier to leave a bitch after multiple relationship fails, than it is the first time.
