Does anything work to increase Potency?

Just tried checking some of the available strains and breeders on Seedsman. It’s not working. I just think there’s far better sources although their exclusive Gelato OG is pretty damned fine.
I see what your saying now. I dont know anything about their inhouse seeds.
Thought you were talkin about humbolt, nirvana, greenhouse etc

Even with those I wonder. Got a sealed breeders packs of Critical Orange Punch. Dutch Passion. Only 1 popped. Let them know and got nothing. Assuming they were old or poorly stored. Or both. My first and last purchase from Seedsman. My buddy loves them. He grew out their Gelato OG and it was really good. He gave me some seeds from a second order. Nice plants. Tasty bud.

In my experience once the seed is made the potency is locked in. Yes with experience and skill you can bring out its best, which to some is an increase in potency. But it is way more common to actually decrease potential potency during the grow. Even the breeders making seeds have a hard time increasing potency that's why most resort to using known clones and making out crosses or selfing.

Hard to gauge potency while growing in container - only the terp profiles that work for you will stand out.
Everyone metabolizes cannabis differently regardless what a lab report states.

Found some strains kinda meh during a smoke sesh but stellar when pressed.
THC % on paper really means nothing.
1000% right. Pure THC is a head-on-the-countertop, head-down, narcotic, paranoid experience. The stone from good weed is way more dynamic then that. THC% is a marketing tool for the unwashed and uninitiated. Means little.

Food grade phosphoric acid is recommended. Sulfuric acid (battery acid) can be used to lower ph but not recommended as it's carcinogenic
"The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has determined that occupational exposure to strong inorganic acid mists containing sulfuric acid is carcinogenic to humans. IARC has not classified pure sulfuric acid for its carcinogenic effects." - cdc.gov.
Plants are not very sensitive to sulfate ions. Sulfuric acid doesn't throw off nute ratios. Sulfuric acid helps the plant "digest" stored nutes. Most commercial growers use sulfuric acid to lower pH. If you choose sulfuric acid or any acid to lower pH wear acid safe gloves, a splash shield, and don't spray (mist) it in the air you breathe (don't use in foliar sprays). And don't use "battery acid" use "sulfuric acid". "Battery acid" is sulfuric acid contaminated with heavy metals. Sulfuric acid is sulfuric acid.

Thank you! Good info! So that works. Simulated drought..... + UV light.

Cold weather? Methyl Jasmonate ?

Does CO2 add potency? Or just weight? Low water PH stimulates cannabinoid production?

Potency is down to genetics a good environment running enough numbers testing and more tests and of course selection selection and some more selection pretty much imo you can do some things to tip things in your favour but in general yeah

Well, no.... battery acid is sulfuric acid diluted with water. Maybe after it's used in the battery it is contaminated with heavy metals as it's used in lead acid batteries.

There is no food grade sulfuric acid.

There are 2 ways to make phosphoric acid wet and dry process. Wet uses sulfuric acid but is not food grade. The dry makes food grade phosphoric acid. It's used in soft drinks, toothpaste etc etc. Ive never met anyone who used sulfuric acid as a ph down. You can use muratic acid to lower ph too. Doesn't mean it's a good idea. It's extremely corrosive and dangerous. I'd rather not put on lab equipment to mix my nutes.
