Does anyone know shorcuts!!

I know shortcuts are not always a good thing, but I need some help. I always said i did not want to grow hydro because it was too much work, but the soil is getting to be alot of work for 1 person. i have 2 flower rooms 2 veg rooms and a clone area. Each flower room is very full and watering is a pain as i have to pull out every plant in each room twice a week(one flower room has 40-50 plants at a time in different stages). this takes alot of time and is not easy work. Also I transplant all the time. I am on a 4 week cycle in each grow room and they are offset by 2 weeks.so every two weeks i pick, plant,clone, move plants around ect.... Also everything getd different nute mixes so I have to mix up several batches of juice. Any tips on how to cut the workload some. thanks

lol you need help... or you need to set up a resavoir that you can water your plants with one quick walk through... or you could go hydro...i don't know why you don't want to do hydro... but that is not the answer if your looking to cut down on working time.

i have really thought about hydro alot. More and more everytime I pull all them plants out. i guess i would have to have seperate units for each stage(they have diff. nutes)? I could probally do less plants and get same yield with hydro??

A reservoir, pump and watering wand will help a lot.

I will have to look into that. can you regulate how much water you put in each one that way. i try to give just enough to last 3 1/2 days so I water twice a week. I dont like to over water but if it saes me 200 man hours over a grow.....it may be worth it. Thanks for the tip!

As far as regulating the water, if you are pumping at a steady rate, just go by time. Also make sure you get a decent heavy duty hose. If you cheap out on that, you will end up buying another one soon enough.
I switched to a pump recently. I'd say it cut watering time in half.

Thanks for the info ganji2. I may have to go hydro. I have just always growin in soi and said i would never go hydro. I am going to start doing alot more reading on the diff systems. I like the very good taste I get from soil. And I like to recycle the dirt into my outside flower beds and yard. One day its going to be level.

I don't know too much about hydro bec. I grow in soil myself. But I have always heard that hydro won't necessarily give you a better yield, especially if your good at growing in soil (which I assume you are with the setup and number of plants) So I wouldn't cut down on plants if you switch and expect the same yield. Just a thought. Goodluck.

You can definitely get the same yield per harvest with less plants(to a point), it just takes longer because you have to veg them bigger.

growing should never become a hassle. U might wanna try a huge water container with a water pump, with a spray nozzle attached.....might become easier

maybe organic hydro would match the taste of soil bud
