Does anyone have any good advice for a 1st time hempy bucket grower?

I am about to try my 1st hempy bucket scrog grow. I will be growing only 2 plants. The strain will big bud x white widow. I will using the lucas formula from GH nutes. I will using a 400watt cooltube inside a 48x24x60 tent. I will be using 100% perlite. So does anyone have any good advice for me?

Feed a little bit everyday until the roots reach the bottom, then every 3 to 4 days.

That seems backwards.

Feed every few days as the roots are growing in to the hempy.Do NOT let the coco dry up.Once roots hit the res below you'll be feeding everyday 1 to 2x a day.

Wait, are you using coco or 100% perlite? I'm starting a similar grow in a cabinet using 100% perlite. Got some good advice on emptying the rez from Mr. Hyde. Use a turkey baster. Much better light than I have though! Keep posting your progress. I'd like to keep an eye on it.

They are using perlite.
