Does a mini split bring fresh air inside?

Hey guys,

Probably a stupid question but I'm wondering if the mini split in my bedroom brings fresh air into the room, or does it just take the air from the room and cool it?

Obviously my plants need fresh air, so if the mini split doesn't pump fresh air into the room I'm gonna have to open a window, or something.

I would add co2 if use mini spilt
If not adding co2, I would have exhaust fan let fresh air in

exactly, a mini does not exchange air.

No it does not. Neither does a window shaker unit.

The portable types do however, often designed to.
unless you got a crop in there, or your room is skanky sealed up, you got plenty of air exchange already in your home. regardless of using an ac unit, or not, you should monitor your air quality, its going to stink in your house real fast or example
