my buddy has a Nissan leaf, and he loves it, EXCEPT, the lil thingy that tells him how many miles he has left on his battery is completely not reliable, and most of that is due to the steep mountains we have, those batteries don't like inclines...
so it'd be perfect for flat-city driving
but traffic, steep inclines, etc can change that mileage indicator reaaaal fast
which is shitty considering you can't exactly have a tow truck deliver you some amperage if ya run out..
i don't like em soley because i know NOTHING on how they work, and i'ma lil weird when it comes to that.
i gotta understand shit from A to Z and if i don't the ignorance creates um, well issues...
i don't like to fly for that reason..
admittedly that's a total ME-thing, and i get that it's not realistic.
but i embrace my illogical/irrational flaws..
but shit man... ya can't juuuust pull over to the side of the road when you are in a jet...
probably my biggest phobia is of falling, so heights do weird things to me, like invertigo
and how fucked is THAT?
yea, that'll make shit safer, get dizzy when you are near ledges and cliffs, great fuckin evolutionary trait there...
Dude you should get an rc flight sim like realflight or something, then a nice 3 channel foamie park flyer. I'm not saying this comes close to complete understanding a real plane but its pretty freaking comprehensive in my experience, especially that 3rd person perspective.
