Dude you should get an rc flight sim like realflight or something, then a nice 3 channel foamie park flyer. I'm not saying this comes close to complete understanding a real plane but its pretty freaking comprehensive in my experience, especially that 3rd person perspective.

funny enough it's not really the lack of understanding that effect me, it's understanding too much about mechanics and it's maladies/complications..
that's what freaks me out.. a car breaks down it slowly coasts to the side of the road..
a airplane breaks down and it plummets to everyones horrific and terrifying demise..
i realize its a fear based mostly in irrationality..
but i embrace that.
all the facts are there, i know its FAR more likely to die in a car crash, or probably more likely to be eaten by a python or a great white than die in a plane crash..
but the fear is there regardless..

you can't even use HALF of that...
1000 hp even in racing slicks is gonna give you traction issues.

it's also why hp and torque isn't the end-all for racing or going fast..

Well funny story, back when I first started smoking one of the first name strains I smoked was bubonic chronic and I guess for some reason I thought it was bublonichronic and made that my aol screen name and been running with it since...that and bad muthafucka was my handle in the ol CS1.6 days

Na dude not really, the planes actually glide down quite well with power loss. The higher up when the power loss occurs the better the chances for a pretty safe landing.....Helis are way worse and more akin to that horrific demise you speak of......even they could possibly be auto gyro'd down if they're up high enough..........that one is way harder though.

I have thought about that, if only to cover my ass in case some asswhole gets butt hurt or some drunk arrogant chick thinks I'm comming onto her n try's to get me fired or whatever, but I'm pretty easy to get along with n haven't had any issues really, not yet atleast
