Doctors want medical pot phased out after legalization: Canadian Medical Association

I’ve got 9-10yrs worth of exemptions filed away, I’m not worried. I hope the 50$ ounces hurry up
I'm not sure what you are talking about. You have repeatedly over months have commented about how the medical system is ending and government is coming for your plants, without providing a shred of supporting evidence and while refusing to listen to the other side. Now life is good anyway cause you got '10 years of exemptions' filed away?
And I'm not sure why you are excited about $50 oz's - I grow mine for under $5/oz

Nice job ... my last run worked out to arount $0.64 per gram all said and done

$50 dollar ounces might come but I doubt it will be from any LP let alone it's still cheaper to grow your own

The government is claiming it will review the medical system in 5 years to appease nosy neighbours who suffer from Reefer Madness and narcissism. It hopes they'll have calmed down by then as the sky still won't have fallen.

There will be some physicians who feel that this has a real place in terms of treatment options and will continue to have those conversations with patients. But we're hoping

So they "hope" everyone agrees. Gotcha. Kinda like they hoped no one would find out whos getting paid how much. Chronically ill patients have little to worry about.

Also LOL about how fucken petty of little a man you are. Got a raging boner hoping we lose our rights still to this day.

lol annnnd the pain management group cancelled training doctors on cannabis last week. Some need to step back and understand they don’t matter. Canada doesn’t give a fuck about your prescription. They don’t give 2 shits if your in pain. Case after case, they do what they want and make policy, enjoy fighting for years. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it won’t happen. When mmar was cancelled was there a warning? Nope. Now they have given you a warning, albeit you interpret it your own way...wait and see. Either way something your not listening too &&$$**DO WHATEVER YOU FUCKING WANT BECAUSE I WILL BE**$$&&

Just because YOU think it will happen...doesn’t mean it will!
They said it will. The lawyers that consult with HC said it will. The lawyers that got you our garden said it will. Take it for what it’s worth...just don’t act surprised

They will lose out like they did the first time as things are going back to screwing the sick once again..and is it ever obvious as well! ;)

court will show them the way and we will all have to wait for it to happen

It’s in the final interview with John conroy in regards to allard. 4-5yrs from allard...just grow what you want who cares. I’m not saying sick won’t get there meds I’m saying you won’t be getting a dr sign for a script much longer. Even the little grower realizes with legalization it’s a bit messed up you can have unlimited storage and only 4 plants...worst case go back to the 3 ells. No smell no sell no tell and youl be fine.

No it isn't. They state the government will look at medical within 5 years - Nothing about coming for your garden in the middle of the night or secretly changing laws so they can arrest people. Facts and reality dictate that medical users will retain every right we fought for - anything else would require court challenges. I can see a system where a patient would simply request a exemption on plant counts using doctor diagnosed conditions, but without the doctor having to agree to cannabis as a treatment. It relieves the Dr. of liability which is what they are asking for, while still respecting court rulings for patients. Medical is only going to expand in numbers - it will NEVER go away. Any one that says differently is a purveyor of fake news.

Lol respecting the courts ruling. How some forget how mmar was brought in and taken down.

The mmar was REPLACED not eliminated and patients won back every right under the new system. Our court granted right to use cannabis as medicine has never gone away. Some of us still have our mmar. Maybe you are right and the government is out to get you for growing your medicine - but I don't think so. I have not heard one other person even talking about it much less trying to convince the rest of us that the sky is falling. Sounds like fear mongering to me - the ugly step-sister to reefer-madness.

If the LPs were smart they'd lobby for cannabis to finally get a DIN. That will be a huge boost for them if medical users could have their prescriptions covered.

"No I am not comfortable prescribing you marijuana, but could I interest you in some opioids?"

Edit: and that's why medicinal needs to stay. Medical users deserve special treatment. They deserve access as easy as possible (ie kids Who get seizures can get cbdtablets under medical, but not under legal), they deserve their prescription cost be treated and covered the sameness as other prescription drugs, they deserve a tax write off for medical expenses.

And you're not comfortable doctors? Then quit your job because as far as I'm concerned, you're violating your professional oath of "atleast do no harm" with your suggestion.
