I’ve owned a number of vaporizers over the past few years, including an analog and digital Volcano. The Volcano is great, but ultimately, I prefer a whip style vape. The online marketing for the Volcano is crazy, you could get two AMAZING vapes for the same price of one Volcano. I bought the 'Cano before I really knew about the vape world. I didn’t like the idea of all of the cannaboids condensing in the bag and going to waste. That and the thing makes a lot of noise. Here is my list of highly recommended vapes (and the preferred vapes for vaporizer enthusiasts)
1.) SILVER SURFER: My preferred vape is the Silver Surfer. It is by far and away the BEST vaporizer I’ve ever owned. It’s my house vape. An awesome vape with the flexibility to consume tiny amounts or get bong-like hits of vapor. Amazing and VERY highly recommended.
2.) PURPLE DAYS: I also very much like the Purple Days. I can’t recall exactly how much ganja you load into it, but it holds about 0.05 grams of weed, gives you a solid two or three vapor hits. You need to let it warm up for a solid 30-45 min but most folks leave it plugged in or on a timer. Can also be used in the car.
3.) VAPOR GENIE: For on the go pipe style action. Lighter required.
Remember, dry bud works best in vapes! Also, don’t pack it like a bowl, smaller amounts, loose, and ground up. You want the air to circulate around your ganj.
There are a number of incredibly shitty knock-off vapes made in China that use toxic components, including lead etc, so make sure you don’t go with some no-name baloney. Essentially, you get what you pay for. Expect to pay between $150 to $250 for a great vaporizer.
I’ve only mentioned three vapes, but there are a number of others that people are big fans of. These include Vapor Brothers, Iolite, Myrtle, and a whole slew of others. In fact, there are a few new vapes coming out in the next few months that I’m really excited about.
If you guys are new to vapes and would like to learn more, I’m happy to start up some reviews (anything to procrastinate at work).
