Do you think the shit smell matters much?

So long story short my garden is in a cabinet in the back of a walk-in closet that doesn't have shit for air circulation and running just an extraction fan won't bring my temps below 81F because that's what ambient is. It finally dawned on me that the closet does share a wall with 3' x 6' lavatory that can get at least 10degrees cooler than the rest of the house when you leave the door closed. I could easily run a 3-4" transfer air duct from that bath room to my grow cabinet without guests in my home being able to see shit. My only concern with this plan is air quality, the occasional fecal stench won't leach into buds or introduce enough methane or anything else to negatively affect my plants right?

haha you will be fine, plants dont absorb scents like that. also methane is so light that it dissipates within a matter of seconds from leaving your bum the scent just sticks around because its so spread out and so concentrated with sulfur

I figured it'd be cool but I work in HVAC and even mention of pulling make up air from a bathroom is a big no no so I just had to reassure myself.

if you were pulling air from the stink pipe that would be a different story, but just bathroom air is no different from the air right outside the door of the bathroom
