It would be a whole lot safer for the ladies involved (maybe some men too?). So much crime is against prostitutes because they are easy pickings since the law doesn't care about them usually, and they have to be exploited even further by pimps so the prostitute is one of the biggest victims here.

yes of course being paid for sex should be legal..
i'll never understand why you can pay a porn star to have sex on camera, but you can't pay the same porn star if you're not filming it and selling it to the public.. how does that make a lick of sense? of course, it doesn't..
i think this might be one of the problems with it being seen as "normal" or like any other job

should young ladies be forced to work in brothels if they can't find other work (unemployed)
for example the government welfare people could insist a lady go for an interview as a secretary or to work at McDonalds or a cleaner etc
or they would lose government assistance when unemployed for refusal of these kind of jobs

if prostitution is a regular job like any other, cleaner/McDonalds/secretary then it would be fair to ask young women to work in brothels or lose any government assistance ?

or should prostitution be put in a special category that is worse than a toilet cleaner that you could never (force*) or bribe anyone into doing

peace

I'm not lip blister muff diving into the correlation between hardcore drug addiction and prostitution because there are yet worse aspects of the sex trade. I'm not talking about a hot college girl, a 'nube' (haha) looking to pay her tuition w an occasional craigslist ad.

most ppl have no real comprehension of the magnitude of the worldwide sex slavery. it already exists among all cities here in the U.S. something this corrupt would be insane to open the floodgates further. children are being sold and kidnapped. gangs threaten adult women with reprisals upon their families if they ever try to escape. shit is very real. MAYBE legal prostition will remedy the underground crap, perhaps not.

who the fuck doesn't want to bang beav then take a cab back home. sure the dog appreciates a kickass hooker, and he's met a few, but the bigger picture downside is rather dark.

it's challenging to open our hearts to what we don't see daily, or what we think is going on in another country; moreover, what-we -want- to-believe. these are our, or somebody's sisters and mothers. [Wouldn't you want to become a junky if you stuffed one or two dozen cocks up in your holes on a daily basis?] Difficult to imagine, huh... It's easier to joke about because it's so painful to empathize with what a victim of that industry goes through just to survive.

Criminalizing it makes it much worse for the victims of sex slavery, just like criminalizing anything else does..
So there should just be a big free for all? No laws of any sort? First world countries should move closer to places like South Africa? Did you jump on a plane and fly to N.O. after Katrina because there was lawlessness or did you think fuck that noise I'm staying here where there is some order?

It already is legal in a sense in some areas of the united states.
It is also semi legal in the "escort" business, seems to be common.
They seek "Donations" which are for "time and not sex"

I don't think it should be legal one way or another.
It's pretty easy to get girls in my area, girls are just as horny as guys, go out, spend some money, get laid.
That's pretty much the same thing right? No need to "donate" for it, especially if you're having a good time genuinely and not forced.
