Do you think my plant is ready for flowering?

yooo I need help or you guys opinions. I have been growing my plant for about 5weeks and a couple of days. I've been waiting for it to show signs of pre flowers but don't see any signs. So was seeing if it is somewhat mature enough to be put into flowering?

It's still a small plant. I doubt you'll get more than a few g off this if you flipped it today. A few more weeks might suffice but I suggest topping this & training the side branches to be main colas. Then flip it. They do not always pre flower but when they do you know they are mature enough to flip. I like to veg for 8 weeks min from seed but that's because I train them out like a mfer & pull clones just before flip. I say top, LST, and then veg for 3 more weeks. That is unless you plan to flower under cfls in that case keep her small as possible & flip ASAP. If you've got lights to penetrate canopy then you can wait a bit longer & get a nice yield.

If you flip now expect no more than a half o.

Are better lights an option for you at the moment? 150W Sunbursts are pretty cheap and good for small grows.

Can you send a link to a pic? I've tried at least 4or5 different kinds of lights and the only lights that the plant seems to like is the led. I wasn't expecting a large yield like a oz or close to a oz.

I was gonna let this plant do its own thing throughout its whole life cycle. Just let it grow. The next plants I wanna lst and supercrop not this bag seed. So basically what your saying is that I should veg for 3more weeks? It's already about a foot.

I'd sit tight till atleast 8 weeks. I would also prune and make her as bushy/dense as can be... the way I see it, I'd want to maximize returns on what I have in front of me. Also do be sure to give her time to recover in between prunings.

If you're in no rush that is.

I kinda am in a rush because I'm gonna need room for my other plants. But you think I should prune her?

It really depends upon what lighting you have to flower with because if you leave it as is you'll get a single cola bud & little else. I see a CFL in your pic so I assume that is your light. If that's so then more veg will just make it more difficult to get light to the lower parts. If you have lights to add or a bigger lamp to bloom with then a longer veg will be worth the time. An untrained plant yields very little; you need a few tops & only the first 6-9" or so will be premium bud & the rest will be good for hash or whatever. Yes always prune for max yield when you can but that is limited by your wattage.

Obviously a few people have already addressed your question, but at first glance my opinion is no; now of course you certainly could - but don't expect more than 3/4 oz to 1 oz yield.

Consider this: If you let the plant veg another 3-4 weeks, and you focus on rhizospheric inoculation (mycos, azos, bacteria,) even the plant does not grow too much bigger, just having the time to beef up things like her stalk and her root system could very really double your yield!

Yea gotta 200 watt led. Was gonna mess with led this grow and get a MH/HPS in June for my next grow.

I'm not tryna get a large yield. That's what I was expecting was a oz and how do I go about by doing that?

Well the most important thing is to be patient and not over feed. Every time you feed, water with pure, ph adjusted water or maybe a compost tea if you can, twice, before feeding again. Veg at least another two weeks and then flower under the most intense light you can. What nutrients are you using? If you bookmark this I'll always be around to help. Again I can't stress enough how great it'd be if you could post any pictures of your setup.

Top it or FIM it. Then let her veg for about 2-3 weeks & keep pinching the tallest tops to try & make them even somewhat. Keep bending over the main stem like every other day & you'll see the other branches move to become new mains. You won't get it perfect but if you get say 3-5 tops and allow the plant to go maybe 18" high before flipping you could pull a zip off her easily; maybe more. Only the tops will be dense so the idea is to make a flat bush with as many nodal areas as possible.

I think it's showing pre flowers now?
