Do you think Hermies are worth it?

My first grow is with three plants and all three seeds are from a soil strawberry hermie plant, the smoke was excellent and I heard that the seeds will produce hermie plants???? Anyone know if this is true anyway here are some pics late start plants are a month and a half old biggest plant is about 3 feet and one is growing sideways because of a storm and the runt is in the back

Genetics will dictate that they will probably be hermies (like their parents)... but its not 100%. Lets say Jim's parents both have big ears. Chances are, Jim will have big ears as well... but he could get lucky and NOT have big ears.

To answer your other question. Yes, they are worth continuing. You've already come this far with them and they look like nice healthy plants. You might as well finish them and see what you get. I'm sure you'll get some good bud out of it. Might have some seeds but its better than just giving up on them and walking away with NOTHING.

isnt all bagseed from hermies? I thought all bagseed is from seedy bud, which is what you get with hermies isn't it?

yes hermies are worth continuing. from what ive read hermies that produce seeds will produce feminised seeds. that will inturn be only female or hermie if you stress them. but if they arent stressed and grown properly they will more than likely be female. i had a hermie my last grow and kept it and im now growing the seeds out now to test this theory.

Nope.

Male pollen + female plant = seeded buds.

Hermies have male and female organs, therefore pollen finds its way to the females pistils, equaling seeded bud.

No, if a plant start out female and turns hermie then the seeds are feminized,but if a plant grows from seed as a hermie then all it's seeds will be hermies. I would let the hermies grow;you can still smoke them,but you will have a shit load of seeds.
