And your poll is missing the correct answer..... it is not ground bud material or buds over a fine mesh screen. It is the dried resin glands from marijuana leaf and bud that have fallen off of the plant.

And my Medical card says "Marihuana"... are we going to argue that it's not valid? Things are spelled differently all around the globe but accepted. Can we lay off the grammar crap? Anyway... the question has been answered.

marihuana (it says it on my card too) is an acceptable spelling of marijuana, it used to be spelled with the "H" a lot back in the day.

also, according to dictionary.com keef is an acceptable spelling...although i dont agree with the definitions..

Go to Google and type in "define keef" It shows the results for kief and asks if you meant kief instead of keef. I've never seen it spelled k-e-e-f until today. Go to eBay and search for a keef, you'll get a ton of books by an author named Carolyn Keef. then try searching for kief.....

See the difference?

If you were selling grinders on eBay and could only use the word keef or kief in your listing, which one would you go with?

and btw, marijuana has several accepted variations of spelling...

This is not the first time I've seen it spelled that way.. I'm not saying you're ignorant but just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

And I did what you said and I found several references to Keef and Kief within the same articles.

Are you just as ignorant, for ignoring my advice to try the word in Google or eBay and looking at the results? I'm not calling you ignorant, just sayin....

you can call it what you will, I'll stick with the common spelling that is traditionaly accepted...

Type in define keef in Google and THIS is what you get, right at the top of the page....

"Showing results for define kief. Search instead for define keef"

Um...I'm probably late, but isn't keef, crystals that fall off you buds? Then you can collect it, and put it on top of your buds in your pipe? Running your buds through the screen is more hash collecting.

I mean, lets be honest...
The "your/you're" misspellings are a LOT more annoying than Kief and Keef. So can we just leave it?

serapis you are correct, google would do that because it shows the most commonly used words, but that doesnt mean keef is incorrect. i also, would never any other spelling than kief, just like i would never use the spelling flavour, people tend to stick to more commonly used grammar. have to love the english language.

and the o.p's poll answer is kinda off, its not the buds, its what comes off the buds...i think thats what he was going for just mis-worded it a bit.

kief boxes have have been around since christ was a cowboy, I do agree that the question is phrased wrong but I think we can all tell what the intent was. It might give some people the wrong idea of what Kief really is.

yeah, i guess if you dont know what kief...or keef...is then it would be very misleading. but i think we'll be ok since nobody will do a search for keef lol.

kief boxes are ok, tumblers are the way to go.
