Do you need to flush weed that has been fed organic food

I haven't done nearly enough of a deep dive on flushing to wanna shit on someone who does do it, but my own private 'experimentation' has led me to the likely conclusion that flushing is a bunch of bro-science. The flushed stuff was never noticeably tastier to me. Nowadays, I just feed the fuckers pretty much up until chop.

I think flushing is purely anecdotal

I grow in coco with GH nutrients and additives. I would say I use a "medium" feed level. I have personally done:

0 days flush (usual approach, 10-20 plants maybe?)
1 day flush (two plants)
3 days flush (approximately 6 plants)
5 days flush (approximately 9 plants)
10 days flush (only once, single plant)

My personal opinion, my smoothest buds were among the 5-day flushed plants BUT, I may have simply been taking better care of my environment & plants overall at that point. Nowadays, I hardly check my hygrometer unless the plants are doing something weird. I have no true data to back anything other than my own summed up experience.

I generally just taper down my feed to an almost-plain water the days leading up to chop. I'll usually skip a watering just to make the pot light & easy to move, also.

Unless by flush you mean lowering your medias nutrient content for generative steering or to correct an over feeding issue.

Notice Nobody's mentioned about overfeeding but thanks do in short yes u do
Here's a study on flushing, spoiler, it doesn't do anything, and everyone here is trying to help you.

This is a great place for learning and talking with likeminded folk, but if you've got thick skin, put it on now.

Welcome to RIU.

Water for 1 or 2 weeks does not change what the plant ate its whole life. What the plant is litteraly made of. If you want better weed use the best plant nutrients you can and don't overfeed. I haven't flushed a plant in 5 years.
