Do you name your plants?

My pots say "Lowe's" on them. Maybe "Lowe's Ryder". Nah.

I hope I give them good names if any because if I call them asshole and bitch then I know things are not going very well.

always be nice to your plants!!! :) be good to them and they will do the same. karma is a KEY FACTOR in growing...took my first year to learn that one lol

btw this is why i write happy names on all the pots...really simple concept that could change the world if used :/

Each grow has a theme name...my first grow all had Hispanic girl gang names (except the first one for some reason): Consuela, Shy Girl, Lil' Joker, Cricket, my second grow had "Valley Girl" names: Buffy, Muffy, Brittny, Stacy. You get the point I am sure. I come up with the theme, the wife names the ladies. Just a little fun and helps when talking about them with my grow partner in a public setting.

Just call me a kid at heart but I still name mine. I have strains which I name usually and call all the plants of that strain by their given name. Example, I have a strain from 2 years ago called "Linda", spanish for beautiful. One called "Melissa" after the Allman Brothers song Sweet Melissa because she smelled so good. One strain derived from Linda and Melissa which is called Jema spanish for candied or bud, and she is growing nice frosty buds so thought something for a candied bud was good.
As you can probably tell, I am just an old hippie from the 60's and 70's. I talk to my plants constantly calling them by name, play them music and in general treat each of my plants whether they be male or female as my children. Saying this I tend to do this with all plants veggies or flowers. So, go ahead and name your plants if this is something that makes you feel good about all the work you do with your plants they will react favorably to the extra love and attention you give them.

Dig some good early Allman Brothers. Maybe Elizabeth could be a good name for one of your plants.
