Saw a few things on here about people leaving there lights off 24 hours before harvest.

Is there any advantage to this?

I did read that on some strains the Dutch do a 8 on 14 off light cycle during the last week of flowering.
They say it supposed increase trichome production.

Mine are ready thought tomorrow, so I dont need to speed the flowering cycle up, I just want to see if there are any benefits of leaving them off for 24 hours before harvest??

Anyone else have any extra success with this method?

I'm gonna harvest in about a week. Will give 'em 36 hours of darkness and drop the temperature a few degrees.

They'll know the Reaper's coming :fire:

so like the 3 days before you are about to harvest you have them under total darkness? Not to be an idiot but to make myself clear, 72hrs of dark and then its chopping time?

Im also curious because harvest time is coming up
