My first grow is going good thanks to everything i have learned on here, i just transplanted into 3g pots at 2 weeks old, and we are a healthy 12 inches about... ...some questions still remain...

Do you have to add perlite to FFOF? i understand it helps the soil breathe but isnt FFOF ready to go out of the bag?

Can you use FFOF from start to finish, clipped clone cutting to flower?

When do you flush a plant? only 2 weeks before harvest or if you have nute burn is what i think is the answer...

i have a good idea from reading for hours on this site but if your experienced maybe help me answer:

When do you start adding bat guano (0-5-0), carbs i have (Humbolt honey Bee Carbs), FF tiger bloom, FF Big Bloom...thanks!

...........gettin ready for another cycle, any answer about perlite and ffof?
I have used FFOF with or without Perlite, without adverse effects....:leaf:

Depending on the strain, I don't feel the need to add nutes right away. There are lot's of nutes in the FFOF, enough for at least 4 weeks.

I have done full grows with very little addition of nutes and also followed the FF feeding schedule closely.

Now I just watch my plants and let them tell me what they want. :bigjoint:

i dont add perlie to the OF, i dont know why not probably cause i havent needed to yet. IO have done grows before hydro in OF straight from the bag start to finish with maybe only 3 feedings thru harvest, but I tend to let my soil dry out more than most.

Ive used FFOF for a few years and have now recently switched over to Roots Organic 707 Formula and i have to say no matter weather im using FF, Roots, Shultz or MG I always mix in perlite to my potting mix to help give it that extra drainage ability and to help aireation of the roots, but dont over do it otherwise the water will just run right out of the pot and wont be able to retain any water

OF has a lot of perlite in it already. If you do add more, make it very little. But you don't have to, no. It is fine as is.
