Well, from experiences, I either hang right with an M3, dead even, or I'll inch ahead by a little, I'd say I'm pretty even with them on a highway rolling start. From a dead stop, I smoke them.
At a rolling start at 60, puts you in 3rd gear, right at the optimum torque band for a subaru. Tell your buddy about this;
To get a excellent boost start from a roll, floor the car, and hold it back with left foot brakeing to the set starting speed, when he lets off the gas, it'll take off like a motherfucker, the turbo is already fully spooling, then he'll get you on the freeway. Left foot braking can also be utilized in cornering, to transfer weight to the front of the car, while keeping the boost up to pull you through the corner. Unless he owned a previous impreza, he has a lot to learn.
Also his best investment would be in a up pipe and downpipe to rid of the catalytic convertors, there is one before, and one after the turbo that really slow down throttle response and boost gain. Plus a subaru engine sounds sooooo badass,

i had a BMW M6 2005 on 22''s but then people told me that it's too flashy cuz then it kinda signals exactly what i am i mean forst cops would see the rims and be like either "wannabe rich surbaban kid or "nigga up 2 no good" then they would pull up next to me and try 2 see thru the tint, if they do see me jus by the way i dress there gonna say "dboy" when they get my name dwn i'll be on surevillance and it would be all over
i like well made somewhat understated dark colored cars in general not a big fan of suv's and sut's i like sedans and sports cars that kinda show u have at least a lil class lol

There's an M3, and an M5, and if you have a M5 you're fucking loaded. Are you sure the wasn't a couple other letters on the trunklid?

my girl wants a mini real bad.. seem like neat lil cars.. made by bmw so im sure they are pretty good cars.
i drive an 03 nissan 350z. its pretty tight, fast, handles well but its my first car, ive always had trucks
96 silverado ext cab, 9 inch susp. lift 3 in body lift 44 inch ss boggers.. that thing was a BEAST.. used to live in texas and went hunting and muddin all the time.. that 5.7 was unstoppable with the 4:56 in the back. sucked tho with 7 mpg
my fav ride ive ever had was an 02 ford lightning.. 5.3l supercharged single cab truck.. that thing was WICKED!! i changed out the intake, exhaust, sc pulley and chipped it that thing was well over 450hp and 500ft it was sooo nasty... could do burnouts like you wouldnt believe.. only bad part is that it got 10 mpg lol premium gas was only a buck 20 then

Why does he NOT ever tell people the Story of Jupiter (that's what I call that thing)? How he came to him and all? Because, if it hadn't been for how events unfolded, and if it hadn't been for how his wife just fell in LOVE with that bike, he wouldnah have it now. wtf lol? there's an m6. it's a 7 speed manual coupe w/ a v10 500hp engine. sick as fuck, i want to put m6 rims on my 3er. that m5 i posted earlier has m6 rims on it. hamaan makes the sickest M6 out..
tell me that's not ridiculous..the hamaan edition has around 575bhp i believe

I wonder if that's what I saw the other day... Looked just like it, had a high revving v10, tuned exhaust, sounded like a ferrari or a lambo taking off. Fucking rich ass sicilian kid I went to high school with was behind the wheel, family is loaded, they own a multi-million dollar mansion about a mile down the road. He drove an M5 to high school.

Heh. Yeah he sounds like a rich-kid. M6 is EASILY buyable though..but that's because I work in repossession
I'm still deciding between an M5 or M6 to buy next year, I can net me an M6 for probably 60-70 racks, and an M5 for around 40 or 50...The m6 is a fucking beast though. BMW's are normally a machine to be feared straight from the factory, while most cars require some sort of tuning.. This is the main reason why I like beamers so much--also, the tuning companies like Alpina, Hamann, Bremgo, AC Schnitzer and Hartge turn them into supercars like you said..some more pics:

also howard you said that 60mph would put u in 3rd gear, my car redlines @ 65mph in 2nd. the m3 has over 2000 more rpms(redlines at around 8200 while my car redlines @ 6k). i wouldn't be surprised if you could get up to 75 in 2nd.
