I personally don't mail order anything, I'm a fan of the fair trade, and bartering.
If I can't find it in a store I don't buy it, I want to see the product before I buy it, inspect for irregularities or damage, know what I'm getting, then try to get a discounted price.
Most people don't realize that's there's mark-up on everything, and you can negotiate the price. If the price tag says "399.99" I start out by saying "I'll gice you 250.00"

For example, I made a big purchase on some Silverstar vented hoods. I bought 20 hoods all together, 6 for me and 14 to sell to other people.
The original price was 275 bucks each. I got twenty for 3500 bucks. Thats 175 each. I sold the 14 hoods for 250, and made a profit of 1050 bucks. At 250 they were still almost 50 bucks cheaper than anywhere else, so everyone was cool with it.

Nobody cares about the lights we buy. With all due respect to the paranoids out here, your just not that important.
I don't pay sticker price for anything either. we'll, whenever possible, but that's most of the time. but I really think your doing your self a disservice if you don't barter online. Auction sites give you the opportunity to support local business and personal sales AND pay a fraction of retail price.

yea the only thing i ever bought was bangin computer fans and the only reason youd by them is for your computer and i did buy them on a computer so theres my reason.
