Do you clear off the big fan leaves during/for flowering?

During flower.
Do you remove the big hand sized fan leaves to expose the flower under it to get light? Like 2 or 3 weeks in flower
Do you remove the lower growth? The leaves and stems at the bottom of the plant?

I'm not sure if there's a right or wrong answer here, as to whether one should or should not. But if you're simply wondering if it's ok to do so then here are some vid's. I hope they help. Good luck!

Larger, lower fans will turn yellow/brown as the plant matures. That's natural. Good rule of thumb is don't remove any fan unless it is more than 50% dead.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I strive to retain all leaves until the plant doesn’t want them for best results.

Defoliation is more about airflow and mold and pests than yield.

Even if the forum and YouTube experts say otherwise. ;-)
