you should try and find this pdf called the skeptics annotated bible
it basically shows every contradiction, conflicts with science and history, absurdity, cruelty and violence, false prophecies family values foul language homosexuality, injustices insults to women, intolerence, sex and many other things in the bible

i mean if they smoke it they will get paranoid about their sins, thus they will not smoke it. if it got them high, they would continue to smoke.

well there are those who sin and regret it, and try to stop, and there are those who don't give a damn at all and do not even try to improve themselves. yes we all sin, but to hugely varying degrees.

in order for the new to overwrite the old, the old must first be understood, so they have to work together. those who believe that the new does not overwrite the old are false christians who have not read the new testament properly at all. it is very clear about this. especially those that practise circumcision. paul proves that circumcision is meaningless as the covenant is through the teaching of christ, an internal matter of the heart, not an external symbol that does not in any way make a person good.

you are correct, most religion is organised crime. but the bible warns about false prophets. would it not be better to fix the problem? living in africa all my life, i can asure you that even with those false prophets, the sum total is more good than bad by a long shot.

as for homosexuality : as a south african who has studied it i can asure you : sodomy causes aids. it is the prime cause : a very unhealthy thing in all respects : both mentally and physically.

to take or eat is the same thing to me. but the isaiah verse clearly talks about a burning coal touching the lips. what can this mean? other than to actually smoke SOMETHING that teaches good from evil (takes away sin)

God gave us every plant for food. What about Canabis sativa? Is it okay to eat (or smoke) that plant? How about the opium poppy (Papaver somniferum), coca plant (Erythroxylum coca), or the peyote cactus (Lophophora williamsii)? Did God give us these plants to eat too? It would seem that he did, since there are no exceptions given in Genesis 1:29.

well i love poppy seed rolls, and coca in its natural form is a very good cure for altitude sickness, or so i hear. I have not tried peyote, but not for lack of trying, but from what i have read it seems very similar to LSD which did wonders for me. The bible does not actually specify how much one should take, but that all the plants are for us, yes. Even the posionous ones can be taken in very very small doses with cool effects!

If you drink too much water after dehydrating in the desert it will kill you. Does this mean water is bad? of course not. I'm pretty sure if you ate nothing but one type of plant for a week you will get sick no matter what plant it is. The dosage is never specified. Some things have to be figured out, or else the bible would be a million pages.

Like I said before, Christianity is a form of philosophy, like all religion. Almost every book in it speaks out against using its teaching dogmatically. One must reason with it, debate it, even disagree with it. The danger is that people do not read it all and make judgements on it. Like eye for an eye can only be contemplated in the light of turning the other cheek.

adam and eve were the first parents and they plucked a fruit from the tree of life
say the bible doesnt mention other first people and adam and eve did something to these people

maybe the tree of life was there family tree and the 'picked' fruit was a baby? many people refer to children as the fruit of their loins lol - im very baked.
