Do we really need dispensaries in Az?

A word to the wise, You never know who is posting/reading the forums. If you chose to illegally purchase meds & risk losing your mmj green card you probably shouldn't tell the world or ask others to get involved . . .

Quite laughable that anyone would think dispensaries would help to drive the cost down in any way. You only have to look at states with them (dispensaries)to see the reality.
As long as we play by the rules and are free to grow & trade/share with other mmj patients the pricing will be more than fair as compared to set pricing by the dispensary group. You can already trade meds cheaper than dispensaries will charge if they are allowed to open (which they won't be).
I will be more than happy the rest of my life if nothing ever changes with our state law & the way it is being enforced right now.

(I won't buy blood diamonds (?)
I'm cool with that too..

The way the law was written sounds like its all about making the dispensaries money. Basically you cant provide your own meds if you live near one.
I agree with you 100%. Its like the government was possibly foreseeing that it may one day own/run the Dispensary or tax it... so they wrote it that way to prepare. Can't make money off people who grow their own so they did the 25 mile rule knowing that the majority of AZ cardholder population would be within that range. Makes you want to move out in the middle of nowhere.

I'm pretty sure it was big money from the out of state dispensaries that crafted the law here. It certainly wasn't designed for the average patient to be able to afford the meds. Since the option to grow would be removed if a dispensary is within 25 miles you would be forced to spend a LOT for a small amount of meds.

Sad the patient wasn't put first over making a few rich...

Yep pretty shitty to see meds cost the same as a brand new car payment.

The law states our right to grow leaves when the dispensaries open . . . I could care less about profiteers & those who want it but since it means losing grower status then BIG DO NOT OPEN from this guy.
It really doesn't matter since dispensaries won't be opening here unless federal law changes ! That's the good news for now !
