Why would you guys support another 1284? All this will do is create 50 new laws to fix one bad law. People will still lose their kids under this law, will still lose property and freedom.

I agree that legalize2012 is better overall, but I don't think it will pass. There are too many landmines in there for the prohibitionists to jump on - which you know they will. LEO (and AG Suthers) is going to be all over both of these initiatives like stink on shit.
I hope they both make it to the ballot, in which case I'll vote for both of them.

All due respect but what is better about about this bill. I dont see anything about a legal plant count or legal weight?

As far as I know there is no limit on plant count or weight, unlike the 'regulate like alcohol'. If it were really regulating it like alcohol why is there limits? There are no limits on the bottles of booze you can buy, you're not looking at 36 years in prison for having to many bottles of tequila. They want to legalize up to an ounce (whereas now 2 ounces is a petty offense) and give all control to the dept of revenue. It does nothing but create a bureaucracy of new regulations and opens everyone up to law enforcement inspections if you grow one plant. Its another 1284.
