i got inch and a 1/2 rockwool cubes for bubbleponics do u leave plastic on or take of cubes
what is everyones preference

dont leave them on in bubbleponics. ebb and flow ...ok.

pinned, where do you come up with these ideas?

I dont know about bubbleponics but hes right you do run a higher risk of mold if you take them off when using a humidome. I learned the hard way.

I agree w/Lool, take it off. If I have the cubes on my workbench with seeds or cuttings I leave them on, when I move them into the mesh pots of the hempy buckets I remove the plastic at that time.

Yeah, somehow I missed the bubbleponics part of the OP both times I stuck my head in here. Disregard my advice.

I leave them on just because, when I don't, the roots start to grow into the rockwool cube next to it. Then when its time to move them to the bigger pots, some of the roots tear off. Can't be good for the seedlings.

for DWC.bubbleponics i would take the plastic off its going to be covered in hydroton anyway im sure it will be fine

hes bubbleponics so they wont be next to each other unless hes growing a few in atub but still they will have good space between them.. i hope :)

ok thanks guys. im glad we settled this without a fight lol i dont like the plastic anyways it seems to trap to much water

Fuck rockwool. I have officially decided never to use it again. Soiless plugs, or a clone machine, and straight into the cups.
