do they look ready?

hi first time grower. having trouble seeing the trics. my eyes are not like they use to be. was hoping to get some experienced grower to tell me if they look ready? I've got two loups but still can't really tell.it looks like I have amber here and there on it. but still looks like there is a lot of clear in there to.im 75 days from starting 12/12 lighting and it was a clone. was told it was a 8-9 week strain.any advice would be great thanks

Check your trichs, looks about ready though.

I looked at them with a 60x jewelers loupe I seen a few amber ones. but looked like still had a lot of clears left also.i just don't want to get the couch lock. should I start the flush and harvest this weekend? thanks

If you don't want couch lock, chop now. Don't worry about flushing, a proper dry and cure is what makes great smoke.

ok thanks for the good info. I was worried about flushing because I was told with the dark leaves I gave them to much n. but if that wont affect the end product I will chop it this evening.

Have your drying area setup to dry as slow as possible without the buds molding. Then a nice slow cure. Chlorophyll will have time to break down if it's slow.

Shoot for 50% rh. If you're lower than that try to lower your temps a little.

thanks for the input. trying to get the best affect without getting the couch lock. I will chop them tomorrow. should it have a few ambers in it or just the milky look?

Definitely looks like the calyx have stacked and swollen.
Maybe harvest the tops and give the lower a bit more time if possible.

my buddy that got me the clone from his friend keeps telling me I need 60% amber and 40 cloudy but most of what ive read says that will give the couch lock. but I know if its cut to early I will loose potency and taste
