Do these look like real OG plants?

I got these OG Kush clones and they took a long time to get going but there finally taking off. Im 6 weeks in and the plants are about 2' tall but are very spaced out, not tight nodes, it almost look like they stretched but i made sure i had the light at a good distance, same as my last grow.

Is this normal for a real OG cut? do OG plants normally grow tall & spaced put as opposed to shorter and dense?

This is my first grow with an OG and I cant find too much info online.

The smell so far is the real deal, lemon pine fuel like a real OG, but I wanted to know what the general characteristics of a typical OG plant.

OG's (OverGrown) will grow more like a sativa, tall and skinny but the buds should be pretty dense.

I think you got it, I typical charachteristics include long, delicate, tall, vine like traits. I responds well to topping and training and can be finicky.

Thanks for the heads up! Im not really good at Topp'ing, how do they do with LST'ing? I did that on my last grow and had good results but the were kush plants

Mine were shorter and stout, with thick Indica looking leaves.

Yours looks more like a Sativa.

Looks streched to me tbh.

Or is this strain a Sativa dom?

OG kush is indica dom (ish) but does stretch and grow like a sativa. If your was short and stocky it was probably not genuine OG kush.

Nah, I'm pretty sure my OG's have been genuine.

Short and stocky in veg followed by a growth spurt in flower is the patern I have observed in my garden.

And the resulting buds have been simply delightful.

And that's realer than Real Deal Holyfield.
