First grow, stunted them, did lots of stuff wrong, but learned tons! Do you guys think my girls look ready?

trichs are the clear, cloudy or amber "crystals" that form on your buds and leaves. You usually won't be able to see the color of them without some kind of magnification.

Got the magnifier! It is sticky as hell, but don't know what exactly i'm lookin at! Feel like a total idiot, but like I said, first grow learned tons! We started on April 11th, have no clue when we through them into flower, but know we did not veg them nearly long enough! Very sad about that! Can't believe how frosty, and sticky they are, the buds are beautiful, bud had we known more would have kept better records, etc!

yea get a 30x-100x magnifying scope. Make sure it has a good light. I like to harvest when all my trichs are milky with 5% amber trichs. What strains are those u growing? Every strain has a different finish time I usually give my plants 5-7 days more than they usually suppose to go. Hope this helps.

don't worry about trichome color. The pistils (hairs) will change color, and receed back into the calyx when your buds are fully ripe! They look good! respect

Calyx? You mean back into the bud? We have blueberry, fucking incredible, one cheese, sour deisel, and perma frost. Also had three mystery seeds in dirt, those got done earlier and have been smoked by my man! I don't even smoke hahahahaha!

I've harvested a portion of one strain as soon as the buds came together then was forced to wait almost two weeks cut the rest and after curing the difference in high was noticeable.

i think its quite a bit easier to just harvest when your plant is ripe. its easy to see when a plant is done. dksmska, do a little reaserch on the plant you're growing. You'll learn some of the terminology, and possibly answer some of the questions you have.
