do the feds watch product companies?

so i always wonder, has anyone heard of any of the companies that sell grow stuff being watched by the police. i hear that some popular companies, like the ones in HIGH TIMES get watched by police and sometimes people are caught due to their names being seen on an ordering list. my question, where is the most popular place that people order their grow supplies if they cant get it locally?

Ive heard of the fuzz checking mailing lists...the one's with alot of material going to the same address stand out. I alway's order from different places just to spread it around..and send it to another address other than the grow location...read your 4th amendment!!
