do surrounding plants effect the outcome of the crop?

i was just wondering if i grow next to and/or near different plants outside will it effect the outcome of the crop? are some plant more beneficial for the crop?:leaf:

Dont think it matters.. But you want your plant to be in a place where it will have lots of sunshine.

Also, do not plant too close to other plants.

Crowding would give you a negative effect on yield.

Sometimes I get pine needles. But the worse problem is thistles. They have fine white hairs that just love to stick to sticky buds. This year I will kill them before they open and send their hairs flying.

yea i have i nice area. ive just herd if you grow in a regular vegetable garden you can get different tastes to it as apposed to growing in the woods. ive been growing indoors and i have a few clones im goin to put outside this year. just wana get the prime spot. shoud i fence it in? whats the ultimate setup outdoors? including pest control and keeping out rodents
