Do plants continue to grow while budding?

That is my question. I have 4 plants all fox farm organic products ( soil, ferts ) All about 15" tall and ready to bud. I have limited grow space so I am concerned as to how much they will grow while flowering. They are under a 400w hps with a super reflective grow box. I believe all plants are indica judging by the plants compared to indicas posted on the web.Thanks for the help.

More or less, Indica will triple in size and Sativa will grow even more. Sometimes you can encourage a plant to naturally dwarf by topping it and forcing to bush outward.
