Do osmotic fertilizer beads release while sweating in compost?

So, was just overthinking the world as usual before, and got to pondering a random potting mix/semi organic mix I've had in a bin here for a few months.

From what I can remember it a mix of leftovers that have been well sealed until mixed a few months ago in a compost bin. About 20L of Scott's osmocote seeding mix (sphagnum peat, compost bark, propagation sand and coir), 10L fine peat moss, 10L Coco coir, a 20L bag of composted loam/bark and about 15L of a perlite and vermiculite mix. It's had veggie scraps here and there.

The osmocote and composted bark had a few TBSP of osmotic release prills in it (a dose for a 7 gal pot) that release when in contact with water obviously.

Would compost sweating produce an environment that would activate the osmotic prills over time and pre load the medium? Just wanted to ask before putting seedlings straight into it.

I would imagine so yea
Figured so. Ill keep it for top dressing garden beds I'd say. Looking into the npk of the prills, it's something like 21:2:14 so it looks more suited as a general landscape/lawn fertilizer.

Shame I didn't think about it earlier. Who knows, could be bomb in disguise but I doubt it.
