Do Landrace strain effects produce less paranoia?

I read a comment recently from someone on Growdiaries.com that claimed pure landrace strains don't induce paranoia as much as hybrids. He didn't back this up with any data, so I figured I'd ask the community. Do folks think there is any truth to this?

Maybe he smokes then decides what to do with his day.lack of ideas makes the brain jumpy activates depression and paranoia.nothing worse then wanting to do lots but not willing to do anything

I don't believe there is really any difference between Sativa and Indica...or the many thousands of hybrids between the two. There are just different flavors and ripeness levels among them all. Certain smells and flavors make people happy....giggly...or nervous, paranoid. The setting you are in when you smoke also makes a difference. I don't want to get up in front of an audience and attempt to do public speaking or free climbing when I'm high. I prefer to get high on a rainy evening and sit in front of a roaring fire and stare at the flames thinking about life and shit....heheh heh.

Alsoo the problem is more you than strains. You are scared of soomething and the weed just makes that stronger.whrn you fix yourselfe you will have no more paranoia
I’ve always wondered about this notion. I do like it in theory and respect the influence of introspection on the experience but I’m not entirely sold on it. Paranoia is such a ubiquitous side effect that I can’t help but think it must be manufactured to a degree…it’s what makes weed weed.

However, I do wholeheartedly believe in the power of understanding how to most appreciate the experience and willfully steer it in positive directions.

I think it’s all on personal tolerance. It will differ when it comes to a solution regarding paranoia.
I myself have never experienced paranoia unless I had Christmas lights in the rear view.
I went away and stopped smoking for 5 years. Just one hit of Banana OG or Bruce Banner had me laughing and crying at the same time. My wife and I laughed about having a panic attack. It was bad and fun in a weird way. Next day wasn't no where near that but could easily take it there with a few more hits. Right now as before I went away there are very few phenos that give me anxiety but no panic or paranoia. Most of the paranoia cones from it being illegal. Nothing was more of a relief than man I'm not gonna go to jail over a plant today. Mindset and setting is everything

Its a double one with this id say yes its you but also yes some weed is more likely to cause it than others that being said if u the type to be paranoid then most will do it and as others already said stay the hell away from psychedelics cos if u find weed hard to handle at times in most cases they gonna be way too much for you and bad news if i were you avoid racy sativas like nevils haze amnesia and amnesia haze thai laotian vietnamese cambodian the only sativa strains i reccomend to folks who are like this is things like cali orange that are nice not racy or paranoia inducing but are still thc dominant vs cbd strains

And op to awnser your original question yes and no it depend on the landrace where its from and what its used for ganja ie strains used for just bud have 0 cbd or low concentrations of as they been selected for that hash making strains however more often than not do contain cbd as they been under less selective pressure from man its not so simple as cbd content though imo cos terpenes other cannabinoids thiols and loads more contribute to the effect its also what gives each strain its character and own personal flavour and feel thc isnt everything either its every single chemical in combo that matters imo

I had some pretty potent spicy tasting stuff that had a really racy high the other day made me feel panicky. strains like that tend to make me anxious. I smoked some gg4 afterwards and was totally fine. I definitely think the chemical composition of a strain shapes the experience.

I've also taken acid a few times without problems, so I'm not sure comparing racy weed strains to psychedelics is a great analogy. Still never hurts to be cautious with those.

That someone on growdiaries doesn't know what they're talking about.
